As a composer, teacher, music director and author, Thea wants to inspire, motivate and cultivate the love of music and now the written word.
As a composer, Thea has birthed music for all age groups. She has written over 150 contemporary worship songs, children’s songs, rock, reggae and jazz and classical pieces and has been recording through the record label Water II Wine music. More recently, Thea has produced ‘Christmas Animal Party’, ‘Shola the Shy Shark’ and ‘Anancy the Magic Spiderman’ for her reception class in a South London primary school.
As an author, Thea published the worship songbook ‘Songs for Life’ in 2006. The second volume of Songs For Life is now ready for publishing. She recently published the ‘A Star in the Sky devotional’ (based on her Christmas ep of the same name), on Apple Books. ‘Shola the Shy Shark’ written during the 2020 lockdown and illustrated by Ruth Fraser was published in May 2023. Her Christmas Cantata 'A Dream Come True’ is also ready for publishing. She is working on a children’s nursery rhyme book ‘Five little fingers’, with illustrator Tayo Fatunla and an original Anancy story based on her recently released song.
