Join Student Achievement Partners and Share My Lesson for a webinar to learn about Common Core Literacy Standards.
SAP’s Item Alignment modules are built around the Common Core Reading Standards, for both informational and literary texts. The modules can be used for a variety of purposes, ranging from individual teachers using them to discover what the Common Core Literary Standards look like in formal or informal assessment settings to district coordinators or literacy specialists using them in teacher trainings. The first speaks to ALL grade levels, outlining general characteristics that should be present in strong items. Then each grade-specific module includes examples of high-quality, well-aligned questions and examples that are of poor quality and are not aligned to the Standards to better illustrate the main points of the tools. The materials are free and adaptable as you see fit for your specific needs. This Webinar will provide an overview of the modules and dive into the variety of ways they can be used by educators at all levels.
