Join NBC Parent Toolkit and Share My Lesson for a webinar on parent engagement.

Finding ways to authentically engage parents has been a continual challenge for schools around the country. This interactive presentation will allow participants to hear about some best practices around parent engagement and explore a new website published by NBC News' Education Nation team to help schools partner better with parents.

Professional Credit

Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.

Share My Lesson is now a New York State Education Department-approved provider for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements and an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved Professional Development provider.

Speakers

Andrew Arenge, Associate, NBC Learn

Andrew Arenge is an Associate on NBC Learn’s Client Services team. Prior to joining NBC Learn, he spent three years contributing to NBC News’ Parent Toolkit website, a Webby award winning resource for parents. He manages NBC Learn’s day-to-day social media presence and is responsible for supporting teachers and professors as they use NBC Learn in their classrooms. Andrew also worked on the exit polling team during NBC News’ coverage of the 2016 presidential election. Prior to joining NBC News, Andrew was a high school math teacher.
