Court Is in Session: A Tool for Supreme Court Simulations

Greg Trefry co-founded the game design studio, Gigantic Mechanic. They use social and physical play to create real-world fun. They have built everything from 100-player video games to live-action historical role-playing simulations. He is the producer of Gigantic Mechanic’s VOXPOP role-playing platform aimed at bringing civics and history to life in the classroom. VOXPOP won Games for Change’s Best Civics game in 2022.

Amanda Setters joined iCivics in 2022 as a Curriculum Associate.  Prior to joining iCivics, Amanda served for over 20 years as a Social Studies educator in Ohio.  She has taught various courses at both the Middle and High School levels and has served in various building and district leadership roles.  Her guiding educational principle is that every child deserves high-quality Social Studies education.  Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree in History and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Secondary Education from the University of Cincinnati.
