About This Webinar

Join Science Friday and Share My Lesson for a webinar to learn to create an informational text ritual that exposes your students to current science and engineering.

AVAILABLE ON-DEMAND

When students listen to and read about the adventures that scientists and engineers have in the field, the enthusiasm that is generated is a powerful launching point for both inquiry and literacy! Participants in this session will learn how to use transcripts combined with engaging multimedia to create a feeling of excitement about reading AND about STEM investigations and problem solving that can be used at the start of any lesson. Emphasis will be on addressing common core listening and speaking skills as well as informational text standards at the middle school level using transcripts and summaries of really fun videos and audio tracks. Participants will leave with multiple strategies for using texts to excite students about current science and engineering.

REGISTER FOR FREE.

Available for one-hour of PD credit.
