Although many teachers want to teach sustainability to their students, the biggest question they have is “How?!” In this 2023 Share My Lesson Virtual Conference session, you’ll see how Discovery Education is working with global social impact partners to develop accessible content for teachers to engage and empower students around sustainability.

We know students are seeking to understand the rapidly changing world they live in and how they can participate. Education is key to understanding the integration of environment, economy and equity as we work to ensure a sustainable future. Our programs look to equip students with the skills necessary to make informed decisions and take responsible actions to protect the environment and create inclusive cities and communities. The content we’ve developed aligns with many of the UN’s Sustainable Development goals (SDGs) like Quality Education, Climate Action, and Responsible Consumption and Production.

Attend this webinar to:

  • Understand the connections between economy, environment, and equity in the UN’s SDGs
  • Learn about successes and challenges we face fostering a sustainable future
  • Explore no-cost, ready-to-use resources to assist in teaching K-12 learners about sustainability
Professional Credit

Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.
