About This Webinar

If your elementary students have been waiting for resources that spark deep engagement with history and civic learning, this session is for you! Private i History Detectives, a supplemental K-5 curriculum from iCivics, places young learners in the center of the action by challenging them to act as history detectives. Organized by grade-level and topic, these whole class mystery-themed units make teaching social studies fun. Help your students put on their historian hats as they develop life-long inquiry skills to solve each mystery. During this interactive 2023 Share My Lesson Virtual Conference session, you will explore the components of these new inquiry-based lessons, learn to center historical events and civic concepts for students in grades K-5, and walk away with free resources and new connections to help your students succeed.
