About This Webinar

Join Marieke van Woerkom and Dionne Grayman of Morningside Center for Teaching Social Responsibility and Share My Lesson in this highly interactive workshop.

Participants will learn about and reflect on how implicit bias expresses itself in the classroom. They will learn specific practices (including for remote instruction) to ensure that we set high expectations for every student - and give our students more opportunities to thrive and shine.

Professional Credit

Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.

Share My Lesson is now a New York State Education Department-approved provider for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements. Step 1: Upon completion of the Share My Lesson webinar, download your PD certificate of completion. Step 2: Complete CTLE certificate. Step 3: Send both your CTLE certificate AND Share My Lesson PD certificate of completion to [email protected].

Excellent presentation! Understanding and being aware of our own implicit bias is crucial. Being able to take active steps in dismantling it as well as helping others through productive dialogue is a necessary component in our educational system.
