As schools begin to reopen, educators will have many questions about teaching their English language learners (ELLs). For example, how should students be grouped for instruction? This webinar will discuss questions related to ELL instruction, assessment, collaboration, and family engagement, as well as ideas for rethinking what it means to "get back to normal." Presenters will highlight some concrete steps that educators can prioritize as more ELLs return to in-person (or hybrid) learning systems, with an eye on both academic and social-emotional considerations. Attendees will also learn about updated ELL resources from Colorín Colorado and more.
