Hello to each of you.

My name is Mary Davis. I currently teach mathematics to students in 6th – 8th grades at a small PreK-8th school located in the central part of Oklahoma. I have taught for 33 years in Oklahoma public school systems, having taught students from 3rd-12th grade over my teaching career. I am looking forward to learning practices to reach all my student’s needs: socially, emotionally and culturally in hopes that they will have the skills needed to be successful in their future careers and to live a productive life of happiness and harmony within our society.

Hello! My name is Janine Hansen. I currently work predominantly with grades 5 and 6 as a Building Based Substitute Teacher at Franklin Middle School in KenTon (Buffalo), NY.

I am professionally certified in 7-12 Social Studies and Deaf and Hard of Hearing in New York. I am hoping to win admission to this conference to obtain more of my 175 required CTLE credits. I am interested in any information moving forward from the pandemic and Civics education. I recently took a 10 hour discussion course on Anti-Racism, SEL, educator mental well-being, and distance learning, so I'm good on those.
