🎙️ The AI Educator BrAIn Is Now a Podcast (Yes, Really)

Good news for everyone who's ever said, "I wish I could catch the AI Educator Brain webinar, but I'm driving / folding laundry / grading papers, or avoiding grading papers"...we heard you.

The AI Educator BrAIn is now officially a podcast (https://edbrain.transistor.fm/)! Same Kelly Booz and Sari Beth Rosenberg. Same Christopher Penn dropping AI knowledge like it's hot. Same SNL Weekend Update–style AI News Update segment. Now in your earbuds, your car speakers, and wherever else you do your best thinking.

Here's how it all works now:
🎧 The podcast — Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, or wherever you get your podcasts. Search "The AI Educator BrAIn." Full monthly episodes plus shorter bonus News Update episodes between them.

🎓 PD credit? Still right here on SML. Listening to the podcast is great — but it doesn't count for professional development credit. To earn PD credit, you need to take the on-demand webinar version on Share My Lesson, or join us live. PD you choose, not some in-service chosen for you.

📺 Join us live — The AI Educator Brain webinar series runs monthly. Sign up, ask questions in the chat, react in real time, and earn PD credit while you're at it.

So: podcast for the commute, webinar for the credit. Both free. Both honest. Both occasionally chaotic.

Hit subscribe wherever you listen — and if you've got 30 seconds, leave us a review. It helps other educators find the show.
See you in the feed. 🎧

Hello!

I am a 5th grade teacher in Georgia, and I’m thrilled to be learning about PLNs in my graduate class. While exploring, I came across Share My Lesson and was immediately drawn to it. As I looked through the site, I noticed the AI and Education community and joined right away. At first, I was hesitant about using AI, but toward the end of last school year I tried the AI tool Brisk to help grade student essays and it was truly a lifesaver. Now, I’m excited to discover even more tools that can help make the more tedious parts of teaching more manageable, so I can focus more of my energy on my students.

Don't forget! Tonight we have episode 2, season 2 of our AI Educator Brain (6:00 pm ET on 9/9/25) …and we need your help!

We need your help for tonight’s EdBrain webinar, The AI Educator Brain on Classroom Management: Calm, Clear and AI-Assisted.
We’ve set up two Padlets for you to post on before the session. Your submissions will shape our live activities, and we’ll feature some of them in real time.

Need to register? Do so here: https://sharemylesson.com/webinars/ai-educator-brain-classroom-manageme…

Padlet #1: From Chaos to Calm
What routines drain your time? What norms set the tone? What behaviors or patterns keep popping up? Share your classroom realities here:

Padlet #2: Creepy or Cool?
One of our regular (and favorite!) segments is Creepy or Cool, where we look at surprising AI examples together. This time, we’re flipping it. We want your submissions. Post an AI tool, story, or example you’ve seen and tell us: creepy, cool, or maybe a little of both.

Though we might regret saying this...we can’t wait to see what you share!

See you tonight,

Kelly Booz, Sari Beth Rosenberg, and EdBrAIn

P.S. Can’t post ahead of time? No problem. You’ll be able to add your ideas live during the webinar too.

Hello Tiziana!
My name is Maria Angala, WTU AFT Local6 member and bilingual special education teacher in Washington DC. I am currently the Lead Teacher at RTEC's Digital Literacy Academy. Are there any other members in this discussion board? I am curious, how are you using AI in their classroom. How is it helping? What's your school's policy/ guidelines on this?

Hi Maria! I've just entered the group and to be honest I am here to learn from the others. I teach English as a Second Language and also in Ischool Curricula, I am involved in learning about new things and I live in Italy. Starting from this school year we have some guidelines for using AI in the Italian schools and we have started some training but most teachers are reluctant about using it. Personally I am exploring new things and learning about the best ways it can help me to differentiate learning and my teaching. To begin with I am using some platforms to create content ( lessons, activities....) and the new features of GEMINI can help me to create content but this year we will have to learn more about the best practices with our students. I will post more once I have started lessons and worked on the guidelines. I am online and follow a lot of educators, sometimes I attend MOOCs and also the European Union is promoting best practices among teachers. The world has changed and as an educator I am here to enhance my teaching.

Oh.

And I am new here and want to be a sponge. There are so many opportunities for positive use of AI in education.
