Society's Perception of Gender Roles

This lesson was used in a Cultural Anthropology elective course. How does society contribute to our understanding of gender roles? Often times subtle items such as toys shape our perception of gender and what each gender’s role is in society. Students will explore this phenomenon with a current event.
