Lee & Low Books

LEE & LOW BOOKS is an independent children’s book publisher specializing in diversity. Our motto, “about everyone, for everyone,” is as urgent today as it was when we started in 1991. It is our goal to meet the need for stories that all children can identify with and enjoy. The right book can foster empathy, dispel stereotypes, prompt discussion about race and ethnicity, and inspire children to imagine not only a world that includes them, but also a world where they are the heroes of their own stories. LEE & LOW BOOKS is committed to meeting the needs of educators by providing award-winning, diverse books for today’s classrooms, along with resources educators need to make meaningful use of each book. Educators may sign up for our monthly e-newsletter at leeandlow.com to learn more or discover the latest teaching materials on LEE & LOW’s The Open Book blog at https://blog.leeandlow.com/
