      About This Lesson

      This 5-Minute Challenge warm-up activity teaches students how to identify states/territories with the largest and smallest percentages of veterans. Students are asked to analyze the data in order to identify possible trends.

      Great resource for teaching about Veterans Day (Nov 11), Wreaths Across America Day (Dec 19) or any other day of remembrance.

      I am a CTE Agriculture teacher in a small town and along with this activity, I asked my husband (Marine, and Army Veteran-who grew up on a nearby farm) to come and speak with my students. It was great!
