About This Lesson

The storyboard highlights how acid rain is formed; the problems it causes and helps the students to have an understanding of why these problems occur. The students work in pairs and use post-it notes to write down what is being shown. The PowerPoint has 'clues' to help aid less able students to access the resource. After they have done this there is a structured handout to complete.

colorful images as stimulus material to help students work out the causes and effects of acid rain (with prompt words on powerpoint if needed) before completing a summary worksheet.
