I am concerned that so many Elementary school children view Africa as a country and not a continent and have rather negative views that have inadvertently been encouraged by well meaning teachers who raise money and hold charity events for 'poor people in Africa' or do topics on ‘Africa’ as if it is all the same!! Lesson written for the Go-Givers website and feedback always welcome.

Absolutely perfect - exactly what I was looking for! Thank you, you've saved me a LOT of time and I think the children in my class will really benefit from this :)

A really clear, accessible and entertaining way to address common misconceptions. I learnt a lot myself. Fun way to address numeracy and geography too.

Love it! I particularly like the way the ppt challenges stereotypes.
