Songs about Ancient Egypt and PowerPoints to go with them. "Hootin' Rootin' Tutankhamun" is written in the style of a Hoe Down and the introductory notes can be played on the open strings of a violin or on a glockenspiel. Others include "Mummies" and "The Curse of Tutankhamun." I've tried to make the songs fun to sing as well as being factually accurate. I've added the version of the ppt with vocal and piano tracks embedded. Please drop me a note if you'd like any hints about using the song.

Thank you so much. I used this with my class this week and it got even the most unethusiastic boys singing! A great way to help them remember dates too.

Hi, Thanks for uploading this song and related materials. It is an excellent resource and a perfect song for remembering facts about Tutankhamun. I was searching for it online as I'd heard it a few years ago in an assembly and wanted to use it this year with my class. Thanks again : )
