About This Lesson

Sheet with the long form and an apostrophe should be printed out . Children cut out the words and fold them to make the contracted form. They postion the apostrophe correctly. What happens next is up to you - just playing with the strips is enough for most children to understand; but they could write out the long and contracted forms or make a display.
