About This Lesson

Whatever discipline students are studying at school, college or university they will need to be able to write sufficiently well so that the reader understands clearly what point they are trying to get across. Learning English in its written form is not automatic. There are certain skills attached to writing that students don’t need to worry about when they speak to others.

It is necessary to provide students with both theory and practical advice, explain what plagiarism is, and clarify how to find and prevent plagiarism in academic writing.

So, to make writing process less torturous, your students are welcome to use Unplag guide and follow the tips below:

6 tips to writing a research paper:

1. Investigate possible topics;

2. Choose your topic;

3. Write a thesis statement;

4. Keep notes on your source information;

5. Set a day to start writing your paper writing;

6. Set a day for final edits.
