About This Lesson

Use this interactive, vocabulary-building game to explore how the elements of art can help students describe, analyze, and create art.

The elements of art – line, color, shape, form, texture, value, space — are the basic building blocks used to craft a work of art. Most art include a combination of these elements. The artists in this interactive game use an element of art in an especially innovative and inspirational way. Knowing the elements of art will help students analyze, discuss, and make art.
