About This Lesson
This lesson plan is a Manufacturing and Reverse Engineering project to include scientific principles and the writing of a technical manual along with the creation of a mock assembly process. Teachers may supplement with technologies from the classroom. These 8 activities are a result of a Kenan Fellows Summer Externship. The activities can be separated or chunked for different age groups or abilities. The reverse engineering project is very popular with most students and can be done individually or in small groups.
