About This Lesson
Rules for atom builder – cut cards and give one set to each table. One student turns over top card and all have to draw the complete atom with protons; neutrons and electrons labelled correctly. Electrons must be in correct level or shell. First to draw atom correctly wins card. Student with most cards at the end wins. Can be used with 9th - 12th Grade (students draw and fill shells) Reduce paper use by using mini whiteboards or laminated pieces of paper.
