The Up and Away and Out of Sight educational outreach program is an excellent resource for preschool and daycare teachers and families to educate themselves on safe medicine storage tips. As per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, every year, around 60,000 children aged 5 and younger get into medicines that are left within reach, which can lead to emergency department visits. This program offers helpful posters and information sheets to ensure that medicines are stored up and away and out of sight. It is essential to arm parents and caregivers at your school with this information to prevent such incidents from happening.

By visiting the program site, you can access additional resources, such as brochures and Spanish materials, to make sure that everyone in your community is informed about the importance of safe medicine storage. It is crucial to make sure that medicine is stored out of reach and out of sight of children, ensuring their safety and preventing any harmful incidents from occurring. By spreading awareness about this program, you can help keep children safe and prevent medicine-related injuries.
