About This Lesson

<p>For this unit I used the Seamus Heaney translation and gave students a photocopied booklet of just the last section from the appearance of the dragon; to text mark; annotate; highlight etc. We also used the graphic novel; but I’ve linked to that in the ppt file; so the actual book isn’t necessary. We also showed clips from the animated movie and the documentary; the latter is available on BBC iPlayer.</p>
