Biodiversity Assessment

Used as a part of a culminating assignment for grade 6 biodiversity unit. Students are given the (fake) description of an alien animal that may be introduced into North America's wetland ecosystems. Students are guided through a report to decide if the Ministry of Natural Resources should allow it.

I had fun with my students imagining a scenario where the animal would need to be introduced. I used this as a "minds on" activity before introducing the attached assignment.
