About This Lesson
Share the book by Sarah Hayes with the children. Give each child one base board (Not included here; I have drawn pictures from the books to match the sentences) and cover it with the words from the corresponding sentence. an extra copy of all the words should then be put face down on the table. Chilidren take turns to select a card; if they have that word they may remove it from their board. The winner is the first to reveal their picture.</p>
Good idea for a game. I'm going to scan and print the pictures from the story to use as a base board.
