About This Lesson
Share the book with the children. Each child has a basket filled with the fruit that Handa begins her journey with. Children take turns to roll the dice. Cover the 1 and 6 on the dice with a red spot and a green spot. If they roll a green; they move on one more if they roll a red they miss a turn. The children move along the board following instructions. The winner is the child who reaches Akeyo’s house first.
