About This Lesson

This website provides the Story of the Film "Red Tails" and the historical context complete with media, original radio interviews of the Tuskegee airmen, and a wide range of primary sources. Chapters in the web story support language arts and science (of flight) as well as civil rights and other social studies topics. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: RH.6-8.1, RH.6-8.2, RH.6-8.3
