About This Lesson
Springboard to help students write a story in adapted time format. A first paragraph is given detailing the main character preparing to face up to the school bully. Students are asked to come up with the events leading up to this point and to continue the story on to a conclusion. Aligned with Common Core Standard: Writing: Text Types and Purposes (W.6.3).
