'Calculate the ages' activity

This is an excellent activity to consolidate understanding of solving linear and simultaneous equations. Students have to use worded clues to construct equations which they then have to solve to work out the ages of the ten people. This is a brilliant group activity to use for revision and it really helps students work on their problem solving skills which is so important on the new spec. Thank you for sharing.
