About This Lesson
This assignment asks students to create a prologue of their own. They must come up with at least six characters and a reason for them to come together to tell stories for entertainment. They write in rhyming couplets, iambic pentameter, illustrate the pilgrimage, and then present them to the class. I've had everything from people stuck in an elevator, runners running down the road, villains at a villains' convention, etc. You name it! It's always a fun activity and one of my favorites.
