About This Lesson
This was part of my research and difficult to teach but broken down into easy pieces by using this PowerPoint. Children made an 'action story' in which they chose actions to do to fill in the blank bits in order to help them recall the complex cycle and also to make it more enjoyable to learn. I also used actual balloons to demonstrate the CO2 bit. The last part where I cover up the pictures is for assessment to see how they have remembered each part of the cycle. Enjoy!
This is a really well organized powerpoint, written in an easy to understand way. The use of the visual images demonstrates the carbon cycle well for younger children. Thank you for sharing.
