Children’s Book Week
May 6 is Floyd Cooper Day!
During the Spring 2022 Children’s Book Week, Every Child A Reader will hold the first annual Floyd Cooper Day in celebration of his inspiring and powerful work as an award-winning illustrator and author.
Teachers, librarians, and booksellers are encouraged to hold readings of his books on Friday, May 6, and to put up displays of his books all that week.
