About This Lesson
The topic Cell biology fits into the larger unit Living Things and its characteristics.
In the unit Living Things--students will be taught the acronym MRS GONER which stands for
M-movement, R-response, S-sensitivity, G-growth, O-organization, N-nutrition, E-excretion, R-respiration. The Students will learn that ALL of the aforementioned characteristics are found ONLY in living things and not in non-living things. The students will also be taught that all the characteristics of living things emanate from it having cells inside its body.
