About This Lesson

Introduction

The following unit plan proposal will be focusing on high school biology and will centered on the examination of cellular energy production and energy transfer through ecosystems and will include detailed lessons on photosynthesis, cellular respiration, and energy transfer across different trophic levels of ecosystems.  The plan will be written in such a way to include resources and accommodation for Special Education (SPED) and English learners (EL) students while providing the information required by the common core.  This proposal will discuss the format of the lesson plans which compose the unit, the objective of the unit, methods for personalizing the unit to best meet the unique needs of all students, and resources which can be used to support the course of instruction.  Given the flow and dynamic contents of the subject, it is advisable that the teacher of the unit review the following resources:
