The connections to social studies, civics, and government are tenuous. Could be used in conjunction with a fully realized lesson plan.

I'm going to use this next Children In Need as an assembly because I agree with d487nt, the children don't really understand why they come to school in their spotty pj's and definitely don't know why they have to bring money as well!!
