About This Lesson
November, designated as Native American Heritage Month, offers an opportunity for all of us to become more educated about that history and current state of affairs. These Children’s Books That Celebrate Native American Heritage Month show the diversity of Native stories. They include stories of joy, cultural traditions, tribal pride, as well as stories of everyday life that will help children connect to Native culture in the present, not the past.
