About This Lesson

Andy Pag and John Grimshaw set off from Poole Harbor to start their 4500 mile, 3 week expedition across the Sahara to Timbuktu. The lorry and off-road vehicles are powered entirely by biodiesel made from waste chocolate in a bid to raise awareness of green fuel.

This video will interest students because of the idea of chocolate powering a vehicle. I just wish the video explained where the chocolate waste was from because I personally don't see how fueling vehicles with chocolate would be beneficial to the environment because we still have to harvest cocoa and create chocolate. However, does the job of showing alternative fuels.
