About This Lesson

Here is a PowerPoint and two handouts that I made. During this lesson they were investigating the difference in potential difference in series and parallel circuits. At the start there is a starter in the form of a game of taboo and at the end there are some questions that I got the students to answer using mini white boards. I found that the handouts provided the structure that some of my students need and so I hope that this can be of help to someone else.

Outstanding! This has to be the definitive practical exercise for series vs. parallel, and I'm glad I found it here before having to create it! I really like the Taboo starter - a good opportunity to accidentally-on-purpose target those who didn't pay full attention last time... Well done, and thanks.
