About This Lesson
I start this lesson after the Reconstruction.
Students will research facts about the Confederate flag, analyze the history, discern opinions, and make an original judgement on the Confederate flag. Students will conclude; if you don’t understand a person maybe it’s because you don’t understand their context-context helps us understand and be understood. I gave them time in class to state their opinions and they were very involved.
