COVID-19 has upended the lives of individuals across the globe, and our nation’s students are no exception to this occurrence. It is critical that students experiencing trauma, anxiety, loneliness or depression receive social, emotional and behavioral support throughout the course of this pandemic. The American Federation of Teachers has compiled helpful resources for educators and parents who are looking for strategies to ensure children’s social emotional needs are being met during this challenging time.
