This is a PowerPoint and word document. Children can highlight text on word document to demonstrate where mood is created by describing the weather. The PowerPoint is intended to generate ideas and discussion. Shared write - last slide: demonstrate how to change mood by changing the description.
A fantastic resource, I've been looking all morning for something that has really good examples of author's use of language and this is PERFECT! A wide range of examples collated together, good starting point of the weather. I will adapt from its original purpose slightly as we won't be doing writing, just identifying and discussing.
