About This Lesson

Holidays Science Lesson. This lesson is aimed at 8th Grade students. It uses a displacement reaction between silver nitrate and copper to form pretty silver crystals on the copper wire bent into a Christmas tree. Fun and educational.

worked really well and sheet was useful. Make sure the wire isn't coated! A copper turning produced a snowball!
