About This Lesson

This lesson begins with students being shown the PowerPoint slide introduction on desert survival. In order to make the lesson even more engaging, the theme tune from the A-team could be played, and this is available to download from the website here. Students then are given a handout and have to write a page in the manual for either controlling water; minerals; or glucose levels in the blood. (Controlling glucose levels in the blood is the hardest).
