About This Lesson
A starter to get children thinking about the range of verbs that could be used. The first slide allows the class to work with the person next to them and come up with many verbs to be used in a 'disgusting recipe'. The remaining slides allow for the class to come up with as many appropriate verbs as they can for the given sentences. The venue of a disgusting recipe evokes interest for the class!
