About This Lesson
This unit plan will introduce students to the genetic code-DNA, it's structure and the processes associated with it, such as DNA replication and protein synthesis. Students will also get to learn about mutations caused due to errors in DNA. Next, they will get to learn about human genetics followed by genetic technology. They will also perform experiments to learn about DNA and a project to learn about human genetic disorder.
