About This Lesson

How green is the World Cup? Here's some ideas to make it greener so that the pitch needn't be the only thing green in football. With motion sensor lighting, ceedum roofs and clothing designed to mimic plants that repel mud and water to make them easier to clean its the environment that's winning.

This would be GREAT for a unit on the environment and conservation. It could be used as an example for students to look at large events or building they encounter and create ways for them to be more 'eco-friendly." This would catch their interest and also allow them to learn. Good idea for a video!
