About This Lesson

<p>A set of three-word sentences for children to extend by adding adverbs; adjectives and further information. We had fun with these as a class game - the children extend the sentence and then pass it on to the next person who extends it further.

Thank you very much for the idea. It is a simple idea, but like all simple ideas, it is a good one. I will definitely use it to develop my learner's writing skills. Lynda Cape Town, South Africa

Can someone help me. The document that shows the sample simple sentences is very small. I don't know how to enlarge the view.

This is a great idea for sure. I believe that if teachers are going to use the idea they should personalize the choices to reflect things that their students are reading or will be reading within the next two weeks. The activity helps to build vocabulary not just syntax and grammar. Again, great idea. Thank you.
