About This Lesson

This is a Smartboard Notebook activity using the Vortex application. There are two vortexes, one "Positive" and one "Negative". As the words appear, you drag them into the correct vortex depending on whether they represent a positive or negative integer. Example: Gain = Positive and Loss = Negative. Students come to the board and play the game. I have a timer built in so the students can race one another and I ususally give a prize (piece of candy) to the one who has the Fastest Finger (time)!

The resource is a smart board file! It does work, but will not open unless you have the smart software installed. Great job putting this together.
