      About This Lesson

      The handout and PowerPoint go together so students can complete notes as they listen to the teacher's lecture. Periodic activities and short writing in their packet gives them time to practice the figurative language techniques presented in the PowerPoint; and also gives them actual examples of the techniques used in some noteworthy poems.
